Swift Temps Coventry are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a client in Banbury on a 13 week temp to perm - The salary for this role is negotiable but experience will determine this also.
Role Overview:
Based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, this role reports to the projects manager. The role also involves working closely with customers, and is responsible for delivering completed projects from site survey- through to installation sign off. The successful applicant will require strong problem-solving skills and the ability to liaise comfortably with internal and external stakeholders throughout the process. The focus for this candidate will be ensuring that the quality of services provided, meet and exceed our customer expectations.
Within this role, you will be required to work on multiple projects at any one time. This will require someone with excellent attention to detail and ability to multi task.

Main duties will include:
- Engage with site contacts from Mechanical and electrical trades to Clients and architects.
- Check and issue final layout and service drawings.
- Carry out final site measurements.
- Plan and co-ordinate project schedules.
- The population & maintenance of Vortex project files in line with Company quality procedures.
- Attend pre-start /progress site meetings.
- Carry out basic equipment demonstrations.
- Attend site to complete commissioning and customer hand over where necessary.
- Assist with general sales activities.
- Any other duties as required and within the skills set of this role.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Must possess previous experience of working in a similar position.
- Experience of working within the Construction / Shop fitting and / or catering equipment industry would be a clear advantage.
- Have an overview knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical services.
- Be able to work to strict deadlines.
- Possess excellent communication, organisational and numeracy skills.
- Can work equally well in either a team or lone working environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes especially Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
- To hold a current, valid CSCS or Skillcard.
- Must be quality driven with attention to detail being paramount in everything achieved.
- Must be flexible and able to travel.Dependant on business needs, there may be occasions whereby overnight stays or unsocial working hours are required.
- Must hold a UK driving licence that meets company insurance requirements.
